For us here at West
Highland, there are four non-negotiables concerning how
we "do Church".
- The Bible is
God's Holy Word
- We will
strive, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to fulfill the
Great Commandment (to love the Lord our God with all our
heart and with all our soul and with all our mind), and
the second is like unto it (to love our neighbors as
ourselves). Matthew 22:38-39
- We will
strive, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to fulfill the
Great Commission by making disciples as we travel the
road of life, baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them
to obey everything that Christ has commanded us.
Matthew 28:19-20
- We will
strive to do all things with excellence, as unto the
Lord, for His glory. 1 Corinthians 10:31
